This is a _very_ old release of Jython, the
Java-based Python implementation (so old, in
fact, that it was still called JPython).
Get the latest release on the web.  

Jython is a Java program that compiles Python 
scripts to Java byte-code, provides seamless
integration between Python and Java classes,
and can package Python code in Java archive 
formats (e.g., .jar, .class).
